She moved to Texas in 1982 and began her formal education at The Art Institute of Houston in Graphic Design and Photography. Graphic design has a major influence on her photography. Her photographs are a graphic representation of her vision. Lines, space and shadows are always present. Composition is very important for her and she loves to do it right on the viewfinder of her camera, making each image a work of art. A co-founder of Images by K&A (2006 to 2018), she is also a commercial photographer known for her naturally lit portraits of families, graduating high school seniors, and sororities. In 1986, she established Paola Isola Photography and her fine art photography has been exhibited in galleries across the United States. Her exhibitions include the following: 2019 – “Umbra: The Real Shadow” at Art Box Gallery, Houston, Texas 2014 – “The Story of The Creative at the Orensanz Foundation, New York 2014 – “The Texas We Love” at the Katy Contemporary Art Museum, Katy, Texas 2013 – “Peru Photo” at the Art Museum of The Americas, Miami, Florida 2012 – “Art From The Heart” at the Gowanus Loft, New York 2012 – Katy Biennial of Photography, Katy, Texas[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
